Front Row Biltong is a family-run business in Newcastle upon Tyne, founded by Kyle Cooper, a South African-born ex-Premiership and Super Rugby player. Kyle moved to Newcastle seven years ago to join the Newcastle Falcons. The brand’s story is built around offering a premium, delicious, and healthy snack – biltong.
Made from the finest cuts of beef, our biltong is carefully selected for its exceptional tenderness and quality. Each piece is meticulously prepared, ensuring only the highest standard of meat, with specific attention to the marbling and fat colour to ensure a richer, more flavourful taste.
Kyle, who has an uncompromising commitment to quality, personally oversees every stage of production. From the selection of beef to the seasoning and drying process, no detail is overlooked in delivering the most exquisite biltong. The “Front Row” name pays homage to Kyle's position on the rugby field for 15 years.
